Mishalla Cannon
This hip mom is the owner of Boomba Toomba, an eco-friendly boutique that stocks cloth diapers,
used clothing and crafts made by local moms. “I love Columbia Credit Union. They ask me about the
store constantly,” she says. “We’re both supporting local businesses.”

Laura Presting
Gnomes, fishing frogs and kissing ducks – oh, my! Parker met with Laura in her backyard garden to talk about why
she loves Columbia and to check out her variety of garden creatures. Laura has been a Columbia member since 1987.
“They not only take care of my money – they take care of me,” she says.

Michael Lampson
As a floral designer, Michael relies on the earth to produce the blossoms for his arrangements, which he
pairs with jaw-dropping props, many of them recovered and repurposed. “I think things should be recycled,”
he says. “That’s why I like Columbia Credit Union ... very green!”

Betty Matson
Parker visited Betty at her RV, which she insists she didn’t buy for herself – rather, it was for her two
beloved Border Collies. Betty has been a Columbia member for 30 years. “It’s a wonderful experience. And
if I’m not happy with something, I don’t stick with it,” she says.

You know something “fishy” is going on whenever members Jim Swatosh, Julie Swatosh Berge and Kuni Masuda get together. They’re all fly-fishing enthusiasts who get a “buzz” from casting flies in local lakes, rivers and streams.

Lacey Treasure, 26, purchased an espresso business from her former employers two years ago. Since then she's been dedicated to "Lacey's Coffee," working long hours, passionately providing good coffee and service and learning to be a boss — a good one.
