Members Lisa Schauer and John Dingethal have been appointed to fill two unexpired Board terms. Please join us in welcoming them to their new volunteer positions.
Schauer will fill Dexter Garey’s unexpired term until the Annual Meeting and election this July. She is running for an additional 3-year term in the election. Dingethal will complete Duane Bequette’s unexpired term until the 2010 Annual Meeting.
Garey and Bequette both resigned this spring. The Credit Union Bylaws allow Directors to appoint replacements when the positions are vacated more than 90 days before an upcoming Annual Meeting, as was the case with both Garey and Bequette’s positions.
This July, three Board Director positions and one Supervisory Committee position are up for election. This includes the position that Schauer has been appointed to complete. The Voter’s Pamphlets and ballots will be mailed July 1, and the deadline to vote is 5 p.m., July 24. Election results will be announced at the 2008 Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 28 at the Red Lion Inn at the Quay.
