Eligibility
We welcome you to join Columbia if you live or work in Washington State or Jantzen Beach/Hayden Island, Oregon. If you don’t meet these requirements, you may join if you are related to eligible individuals. Businesses are eligible for membership if the company is located in Washington or if more than half its owners or employees are eligible for membership.

Your relationship with Columbia begins with your lifetime membership fee of $5 and opening a savings account.
You may open a savings account with as little as $5.
Lifetime membership
Whether you leave Washington State, change employers or pack your bags and travel the world, you may retain your Columbia membership.
