For many girls and their families, buying a dress for the prom is so far out of reach, it would take a fairy godmother to make it happen. As a sponsor of Operation Fairy Godmother, Columbia Credit Union supports the Vancouver School District Foundation’s efforts to make prom affordable for area teens.
At this year’s event on March 15, 2008 at Westfield Vancouver Mall, local high school girls are invited to purchase the dress of their dreams for just $10 and guys can apply for confidential scholarships to cover the cost of prom tickets.
