The 23rd Annual Walk and Knock brought in 128 tons of food for Clark County food banks. This is up 20 tons from last year’s collection day total! Around 24,000 people per month use food banks in Clark County. Columbia Credit Union partnered with The Columbian as a sponsor for this event that provides 1/3 of the food going to the 12 Clark County Food Banks each year.
Started in 1982 by the Lions Club, this annual food drive has grown to include 20 service clubs and organizations and is now known as the Inter-Service Walk & Knock Food Drive. Food donated during the drive remains in Clark County.
